I found blackberries last year but the berries didn't really form. I am hoping to reduce the competition from grass and weeds will give me lots of berries this year. There is a lot to do in preparation for the coming growing season. I get a start on not only the garden beds but also the planting as I get seeds in the ground and prepare my onions for planting.

The plan this week was to put the paddles up on the wall. I decided on a variation of a floating shelf but events conspired to prevent the completion of the job, again. I want to improve the lawn and after reviewing the current and potential flower beds, decide where to start adding soil and planting grass seed. Two rooms get shelves on the wall to help with the clutter, relieving the pressure of having all the craft supplies and equipment scattered throughout the house.
